Mentoring = an hour face to face, on the phone or via Skype talking with a mentor or someone from the area you have an interest in exploring as an option for university or work. Connect with a mentor. Its simple and easy to do. It could be a family relative or friend or someone you connect with through your school. It costs nothing but can really make a difference at decision making time.
“We did a great event at school called Speed Mentoring where lots of parents came to our school and we talked to experts for 5 minutes at a time. It was fun, fast and we all learnt so so much”, Anna, Oxford, UK, 17.
